Let's face it: fall TV's new series were particularly lackluster. Aside from a handful of breakouts like How to Get Away with Murder and Jane The Virgin,
the tube lacked the innovation, intelligence, and consistency found in
our favorite shows. Fortunately for us, the midseason slate of new
